Blitz Smash

This game is a secret present for my brother. He's done a lot for me over the years and I want to bring him some sort of local co-op retro action that is different everytime. So hopefully he doesn't work out I'm making this for him.

Blitz Smash is a run and gun rogue built around the idea of setting up action paced gameplay. Enemies, weapon upgrades and items are placed into the level to create a balance between action and suspense.

The game is designed to be for nights in with 1-4 mates with a dirty pizza and a few beers and just blitzing levels.

I hope you enjoy and I hope my brother is happily surprised.

Update:

version 0.4:

This is the final free version release of this game. To keep up to date with the game, follow Blitz Smash Deluxe. The changes in this version are:

• Even better camera system
• Second stick on an xbox controller can auto shoot in that direction
• Dash can be done diagonally now too
• Other tweaks I can't remember

version 0.3:

I skipped uploading 0.2 because I found bugs in it pretty much immediately haha. So this is everything from 0.2 and 0.3

• 6 new characters. These are all of my lovely patreon supporters to be precise
• Better camera system
• I think I fixed the bug where enemies can escape the level?
• Fixed the bug where a player in multiplayer match can walk through walls if they are off screen
• Tweaked the bosses stats
• Changed around some physics
• Options menu now in place (screen size, volume, custom keyboard controls and you can turn screen shake off if you really really want to :P)
